Select Blade
Help choosing
Start with a comfortable handle and a blade you can control. All-wood and composite describe construction, not a guaranteed speed. FL is flared, ST is straight, and CS is Chinese Penhold.

Select Forehand Rubber
Help choosing
Forehand swings are often fuller; backhand strokes are often more compact. Some players prefer a firmer forehand and a softer backhand, but the same manageable rubber model on both sides is a good starting point. Choose one black sheet and one colored sheet.

What is boosting?
Boosting is an optional treatment applied to the sponge before assembly. It can change the rubber’s feel and response. It is not required for your first racket, and the displayed charge applies to each rubber you select.
Boosting may add an additional 1–2 days to preparation.
